Tiwa Savage, the Queen of Afrobeats, is dipping back into her R&B bag. The Nigerian singer, who has written for artists such as Fantasia and Chrisette Michele, has shared her new single, “You4Me.”
The sultry jam, produced by Mystro, samples Tamia‘s 1998 classic “So Into You.” Lyrically, the song captures the sensational feeling of falling in love.
“I’m down to do what you really want to / Champagne with a little fun, yeah / Show me what you really want / Nobody do me as good as you,” Savage sings.
Speaking on her new track, Savage shares, “I’m a ’90s R&B girl at heart.”
“You4Me” is the follow-up to “Forgiveness,” released in October 2024. Savage co-wrote the latter song with Muni Long and Theron Thomas.
Both songs will appear on Tiwa Savage’s forthcoming album, This One Is Personal, coming this summer via Everything Savage/EMPIRE.
